Understanding Common Mental Health Problems
With 1 in 4 of us estimated to experience mental health difficulties each year, common mental health problems will affect the personal and working lives of a large proportion of the population.
By developing an understanding of these difficulties, we can help to reduce stigma and the misconceptions associated with mental health as well as increase confidence when working with and supporting those experiencing common mental health problems in the workplace.

Understanding Severe Mental Health Disorders
Severe mental health disorders have a significant impact on the lives of those experiencing them as well as those around them. Many people are living with complex and long-term mental health difficulties which are often misunderstood.
By developing an understanding of these difficulties, we can help to reduce stigma and the misconceptions associated with mental health as well as increase confidence when working with and supporting those experiencing severe mental health disorders in the workplace.

Half Day Workshop

Our half day workshop introduces attendees to the concepts and definitions of the chosen specific disorder, considering the common presentation of symptoms and the challenges which may manifest.

IAPT Low Intensity PWP Supervisor Training
Both Becca & Michelle have both spent the last decade working and teaching within the IAPT programme.
​
Starting firstly as qualified PWP's & supervisors, we moved into lecturing, assessing and supporting trainees & services as part of a BPS accredited Low Intensity Psychological Interventions (PWP) programme.
We are both also qualified in higher education teaching and learning (PGCLTHE)
​
As part of our training services we offer training to support Low Intensity (PWP) supervisors, which aligns with the IAPT supervision guidance and curriculum.

IAPT PWP Supervisor Training
Aspire offer a 3 day training course which supports the development of the core skills required for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP's) who will be providing supervision within an IAPT service.
​
The course content covers the curriculum and learning outcomes required for Low Intensity PWP Supervisors as stipulated in the IAPT Supervisor Training Commissioning Guidance and the following documents:

Supervising Trainee's Workshop
​
Supervisors are commonly required to support and guide staff completing their training to become qualified PWP's. This presents numerous challenges within supervision and requires supervisors to draw on additional knowledge and skills to successfully support PWP students and the service during training.

Aspire offer a 1 or 2 day training course which supports supervisors to develop their skills in supporting student trainees and covers:
